 Three companies in the cannabis lighting field combined to form one Visionaire Lighting, RapidGrow LED Technologies, and Pangea Software, announced they have joined to form the new PANGEA Global Technologies.
The group will retain the three brands, and utilize all their technologies to better serve their customers by integrating everything with Pangea Software. Bryan Fried, Chairman and CEO of PANGEA Global Technologies, said “By folding our brands into one company ... we can offer a far larger range of commercial or industrial projects than before." PANGEA Software is an open-architecture, wireless lighting platform that enables the creation of Smart Environments, automation, data reporting and third-party device connectivity. The wireless system connects to more than 3,000 fixtures on a single gateway, with no wiring between light fixtures, granting full wireless control of individual light fixtures and pre-set zones while gathering data and generating real-time reporting. CEO Bryan Fried said their products and services were credited for the largest on-bill refinancing rebate for an indoor grow facility in California by their local utility company. Fried also spoke about a customer in Utah that owns the largest hemp farm in the state, who received a rebate 63% higher than initial utility rebates, benefitting them an additional $201,000 because of using Pangea products and services.
