Canada’s Adult Use Sales Bring Good News

With the ‘regular’ news bringing stories of inflation, high gas prices, and other financial woes … it’s always good to hear some good news!

We do hear some reports of cannabis companies restructuring or even closing some businesses, there are also big sales being made and numbers going up.

Canada’s statistics authority reported that in April, Canadians bought $372.4 million Canadian dollars ($287 million) worth of regulated adult-use cannabis products in April, which was a record high number for them.

That means that Canada’s recreational sales for the first four months of the year reached a grand total of $1.4 billion Canadian dollars.

​The province of Ontario brought in the most sales dollars for April, while Quebec had the highest growth trajectory over previous months.
