 Colorado doesn’t want Mike Tyson’s ear shaped THC gummies.
Well, they want the gummies... just not in that shape. Tyson’s cannabis company, Tyson 2.0, just launched the new product called “Mike Bites”: little ear shaped, thc infused gummies. The launch was a huge success garnering tons of media attention, and consumer interest. Currently they’re available for sale in California, and plans were to have them available in other legal states soon. But it looks like they won’t be for sale in Colorado. A 2016 state law bans cannabis edibles from being formed in shapes that could attract children, such as animals, fruits, or humans. The Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division says that the ear shaped edibles are fall under this law, and would therefore be banned. Tyson 2.0 will instead be offering Colorado residents their gummies in the shape of the letter “T”.
