Cannabis regulators in Colorado are asking the state legislatures for help with keeping contaminated cannabis out of consumers hands. Westword reported that despite laboratory testing requirements in the state for all retail cannabis, the process is not perfect. During a recent Colorado House committee meeting, Representative Marc Snyder pointed out that the current, "enforcement mechanisms are rather lengthy and cumbersome.” He said, "We're worried that people have a lag time between the time a product is tested to be unsafe and the time it can be actually removed from the shelves and not be available to the public.” Comments are closed.
