Connecticut legalized recreational, adult-use cannabis last summer, and sales are expected to start later this year.
The deadline to submit your application for a cannabis business license was last week, and in total, the state received more than 37,000 applications! Connecticut will only be issuing 56 recreational, adult-use cannabis licenses in the state, with half going to general applicants and the other half going to social equity applicants. They will also be issuing four micro-cultivators, 10 food and beverage producers, six manufacturers, six packagers, four transporters, four hybrid medical and adult-use retailers, 12 adult-use-only retailers, and 10 delivery services. The Social Equity Council will meet July 12 to start reviewing the applications. Comments are closed.
