Kentucky currently is one of the 13 states with no approved recreational or medical marijuana laws. Legislation in favor of medical marijuana made it’s way through the Kentucky state house in March, but didn’t make it through the Senate. Kentucky’s Governor, Andy Beshear, responded to that by saying he will personally try to pass medical marijuana through executive order. This month he’s moving forwared to do just that. Governor Beshear has just appointed 17 people to serve as advisers for establishing a medical marijuana policy for the state. Committee members were chosen based on their relevant experience, and will soon begin working on this project. Comments are closed.
