![]() The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Agency is in process of completely switching over from their OMMA system to the new Metrc system. All medical marijuana businesses in Oklahoma must be aware that May 26th is the absolute deadline that all medical marijuana businesses need to be prepared for. By this date the businesses must be registered with Metrc, have completed required training, and have all inventory tagged and tracked in Metrc. Going forward from the May 26th deadline, all reporting, tracking, transfers, waste, and sales must be done with Metrc. Dispensaries will follow the same procedures and same deadline date. However, they have one additional requirement: Any untagged inventory that remains in stock as of the May 26th deadline, may be sold or disposed, and tracked using the old OMMA system, up until August 24th. Information and training is available on the OMMA and Metrc websites. Comments are closed.
