More Big Raids on Illegal Grows in California by Operation ‘Hammer Strike’

​Southern California’s San Bernardino County Marijuana Enforcement Team has been making quite a dent in the illegal grow market in their county.

The Sherriff’s Departments “Operation Hammer Strike” is an impressive ongoing effort to eradicate illegal grows. They are currently at week 31.

During the period of March 14th to 27th, the Marijuana Enforcement Team in San Bernardino County has:

• served 46 search warrants
• arrested 49 people
• shut down 46 illegal marijuana grow operations
• seized 50,034 marijuana plants seized 3,008 pounds of processed marijuana
• seized 41,164 grams of concentrated marijuana
• confiscated eight guns
• confiscated over $163,000 in cash
• Investigators also mitigated four electrical bypasses and one THC extraction lab

The raids came as a result of numerous complaints received regarding large outdoor marijuana cultivations in the areas.

Operation Hammer Strike is still continuing their efforts to eliminate illegal cannabis grows throughout their county.
